Katalyst seeks enthusiastic and qualified interns for Fall 2009 forthe Digital Media departmnet. The internship is unpaid but it provides a friendly and creative environment. This is a great opportunity to obtain hands-on experience and insight into the inner workings of a multi-faceted entertainment production company. Students are not only integrated into a specific area but opportunities arise to work with other departments and projects.
To qualify, students must receive college credit and commit to at least 2 full days a week for a minimum of 10 weeks. Below please find a brief job description for the digital department:
Digital Media
Interns needed to assist with digital properties, including Katalyst HQ and Blah Girls. Duties include, but are not limited to, content upload & distribution, and database management. Knowledge of HTML and Excel useful but not required. Ideal candidate possesses a strong interest and understanding of social web/networks (i.e., Facebook,
Twitter, & MySpace) and video on the web.
